What does this tool do?
Blur Face / Redact Image helps privacy and content teams remove sensitive visual information from photos and screenshots. It supports local face detection, license-plate candidates, OCR-based personal information detection, manual redaction boxes, batch processing, and metadata-free image downloads.
How to use
- Upload one or more images.
- Choose detection targets and a default redaction style.
- Run auto-detect, then move, resize, add, delete, or restyle boxes.
- Download one redacted PNG or export the whole batch as a ZIP.
Privacy notes
- Detection runs through your local backend, not a third-party API.
- Downloaded images are re-rendered from canvas, so EXIF metadata is removed.
- Automatic detection is best-effort; manually cover anything it misses.
